✨ Where hope lives. Where you make it possible.
December 2025
Jared’s Journey, and the Future We’re Anchoring Together
At Eternal Anchor, we believe every child with a disability deserves more than access to education. They deserve a place to grow, to connect, and to be fully seen. That’s what the Anchor the Future campaign is all about. And today, we want to introduce you to one of our students: Jared.
Jared came to Eternal Anchor’s school when he was six years old. Diagnosed with autism at age five, he struggled to communicate, and his mother, Rosalía, wasn’t sure what his future would hold. Then, everything changed. “God is good,” said Rosalía. “God opened the door for us at Eternal Anchor.”
Now 12, Jared is thriving. He’s more independent than ever—learning, building friendships, expressing himself, and using Mexican Sign Language. “I thank the teachers—and God—because it is through God that they are there,” added Rosalía. “I admire the teachers because they are so patient with the children and give them love.”
Watch Jared’s story on our YouTube channel. (https://youtu.be/r3aVfk6pep8?si=_ldzMjhNuMl9QOhg)
Jared is one of 32 students currently enrolled in our inclusive school in the San Quintin Valley. Each of them has their own story of transformation. And each one is counting on our community to keep this life-changing work going.
As we near the end of the year, we’re inviting you to help us close the gap. It takes $15,000 a month to operate Eternal Anchor’s education program. Families contribute what they can, but it still leaves an $11,000 shortfall we must meet every month. And that’s what Anchor the Future is all about.
With less than 30 days to go in our Anchor the Future campaign, your support matters more than ever. Every gift helps cover the ongoing operational costs…things like teacher salaries, classroom materials, utilities, and transportation so children can get to school each day.
Thanks to a generous $50,000 match, every dollar you give today will be doubled, making twice the impact for students like Jared.
▶︎ $50 becomes $100
▶︎ $100 becomes $200
▶︎ $250 becomes $500
▶︎ Every gift helps provide education, inclusion, and hope
If you believe in education that includes everyone…
If you believe every child deserves to learn and grow in a place where they belong…
If you believe hope should be part of every child’s story…
Then this is your moment to help make it happen. Give today, and help anchor the future.

Unpaved Roads, Unshakable Purpose
When most people think of Mexico, they picture bustling cities like Mexico City or polished resort towns like Cancún or Cabo San Lucas. But that’s not where we are.
Eternal Anchor is rooted in the rural San Quintin Valley, an agricultural corridor nestled between the mountains and the Pacific Ocean in northern Baja California. It’s a place of natural beauty and deep resilience, where dusty roads stretch for miles and cell service comes and goes. Most homes here are built from concrete block or reclaimed wood, and many families work in the nearby strawberry and tomato fields.
It’s not flashy. It’s not paved. But it’s real. And it’s where hope takes root.
Here, the distances between homes, services, and opportunity are often wide. That’s why our school, therapy center, mobility equipment workshop, and homes for children and adults with disabilities matter so much. Without them, access to education, therapy, and inclusive community simply wouldn’t exist for many of the people we serve.
In this short video (https://youtu.be/5ojoaQICM7w) , you’ll see the San Quintin Valley from above—an unfiltered look at the landscape we call home. The drone footage gives you more than just scenery, it shows where our facilities are located within the broader San Quintin Valley. From our inclusive school and therapy center to our mobility workshop and residential homes, you’ll get a true sense of the distances we navigate, the rural nature of the region, and the quiet resilience of life here.

✨ $50,000. 90 days. Every gift matched.
Anchor the Future
Because Every Child Deserves to Belong
In the rural San Quintin Valley of Mexico, 32 students with disabilities attend a school like no other.
At Eternal Anchor, they learn to communicate using Mexican Sign Language, read, explore the arts, express emotions, develop life skills, and receive exercise and physical therapy. For each of them, it’s the first time they’ve had access to real education and vital support services. The first time they’ve been included. The first time they’ve belonged.
But creating a place where every child belongs requires intentional investment.
It takes $15,000 a month to operate Eternal Anchor’s education program. Families contribute what they can, and some are unable to contribute anything at all. That leaves us with a monthly gap of $11,500. Here’s why that matters: We’re not just offering education; we’re offering belonging, dignity, and a future.
To keep going strong, we launched the Anchor the Future campaign. Our goal: Raise $50,000 by December 31 to help cover the school’s most essential costs. And thanks to a generous matching gift, every dollar you give will be DOUBLED—up to $50,000—in either one-time gifts or new, recurring gifts. And any increase in an current recurring monthly gifts will also be doubled…for 12 months.
Simple Math. Real Impact
Let’s break this down. We have 90 days to raise $50,000. That’s about:
▶︎ $556 per day
And that could look like:
▶︎ 100 people giving $500 each
▶︎ 250 people giving $200 each
▶︎ A $10 increase in recurring giving will result in a $120 match
▶︎ A new $25 recurring monthly gift will mean a $300 match
Anchor the Future isn’t about expansion. It’s about sustainability. It’s about making sure our teachers can keep showing up, our classrooms stay open, and our students continue learning, growing, and being seen.
When we Anchor the Future together, we ensure that students with disabilities aren’t left behind. We make sure they’re seen. Supported. Celebrated. Let’s to this…together.

✨ This is what love looks like
August 2025
More Than Paint: How Art Opens Doors at Eternal Anchor
Walk into our school on any given morning, and you’ll see children gathered around tables covered in smudged paper, well-worn brushes, and jars of bright tempera paint. At the Friendship Club Without Borders, young adults sit shoulder to shoulder, layering colors onto art projects with careful intention. But what’s happening in these spaces is more than paint. It’s trust being built. Emotions being named. It’s connection, expression, and healing—one brushstroke at a time.
Art therapy is woven into daily life at Eternal Anchor—not as an “extra,” but as an essential. Because for many of the children and young adults we serve, language can be limited. Emotions can be hard to name. Experiences don’t always fit into words. But give someone a paintbrush, a crayon, or a lump of clay? There’s no pressure. No right or wrong. Just the freedom to create. And suddenly, a door opens.
A door to expression. A door to calm. A door to pride, when a finished piece says: “I made this. This is me.”
We’ve seen breakthroughs happen at the art table. We’ve watched anxiety soften with each brushstroke. We’ve learned to listen not just with our ears—but with our eyes and hearts. This is the power of art therapy. And this is the kind of belonging your support makes possible.

Something Big is Coming This Fall
At Eternal Anchor’s school, every day is full of possibility. Children who once struggled to find a place to belong are now learning, thriving, and discovering their gifts. Parents tell us that for the first time, their children are being seen not for their disability, but for their potential.
But behind the laughter and learning is a truth we can’t ignore: it takes tremendous commitment, resources, and vision to keep this community of belonging alive. That’s why, beginning October 1, we’ll be inviting you to join us in something new—something bold. We’re calling it Anchor the Future.
This campaign will focus on making sure our school for children with disabilities continues to be a place where every child can learn, grow in confidence, and reach their individual potential. We’re not ready to reveal everything just yet, but here’s what we can say: Anchor the Future about building a strong foundation so that the children and families we serve in the San Quintin Valley know that hope isn’t temporary. It’s anchored.
So stay tuned. In the coming weeks, we’ll share how you can be part of this next chapter in Eternal Anchor’s story. Together, we can anchor the future for the children and families who need it most.

Anchored Encounters: Come for the Connection,
Stay for the Transformation
It happened somewhere between a shared laugh at our school and a quiet moment shared over coffee: “I came here thinking I was going to serve. But I’m the one who’s been changed.” That’s the heartbeat of Anchored Encounters—a new way to do short-term mission trips, where connection matters more than construction, and presence speaks louder than plans.
When you come to Eternal Anchor, you become part of the rhythm of life here in the San Quintin Valley. You’ll sit in on therapy sessions. Dance with kids who use wheelchairs. Listen to stories told with hands instead of words. Prepare snacks at school. Break bread in the home of a local family. You’ll laugh. You’ll cry. You’ll grow.
But more than anything, you’ll belong—even just for a week—to a community where inclusion isn’t just a value. It’s a way of life.
Anchored Encounters are tailored to your group’s gifts and passions. Whether you’re a church youth group, a university team, a group of families, or an individual looking to serve, we’ll welcome you not as outsiders, but as partners. Co-learners. Friends. This is not a trip you’ll forget. It’s a relationship you’ll carry with you.

✨ Walking Together: July Highlights from Eternal Anchor
July 2025
Walking Together: A Month of Partnership and Presence
At Eternal Anchor, we don’t ask visiting groups to come as experts—we invite them to come as learners. We believe the most transformative service happens not through projects completed, but through relationships formed, stories shared, and a willingness to walk alongside others with humility and open hearts.
This July, we were honored to welcome three returning teams from Otter Creek Church in Tennessee, TeamUp in Canada, and Discovery Church in Washington State. Each group brought something uniquely beautiful to our shared table: joy, laughter, deep compassion, and a genuine desire to be part of something bigger than themselves.
Rather than offering a checklist of tasks accomplished, we celebrate something much more meaningful—partnership rooted in mutual respect and shared purpose. Each group entered into the daily rhythms of our community with care and curiosity, choosing to learn from our staff, build friendships with our students and families, and affirm the dignity and worth of every person they encountered.
This summer also marked a powerful first: we began inviting visiting teams to an evening of table fellowship with our Family Services residents and houseparents. These shared meals offered space for connection across language, culture, and background—a chance to sit together, not just to eat, but to see each other. The result? A deeper understanding of the love and trust that defines our family-style homes, and unforgettable moments of belonging for everyone around the table.
“When we walk together, we go farther,” said Austin Robinson, Eternal Anchor’s co-founder and executive director. “When we listen first, we grow stronger. And when we break bread, we remember that we belong to one another.” To our July partners: thank you! Your presence was a gift. You reminded us that community isn’t built in a day—but that every day we choose to show up for one another, we build something sacred.

Love Extended: Education – Building Bridges for Inclusive Classrooms
When we talk about “Love Extended” at Eternal Anchor, we’re talking about more than just a program. It’s a mindset—a commitment to collaboration, mutual growth, and deep respect for the communities we serve.
This summer, our Love Extended: Education initiative brought that vision to life once again. A passionate group of U.S. educators partnered with Eternal Anchor’s local staff to lead a series of workshops on inclusive education in Vicente Guerrero and Diaz Ordaz. But this wasn’t about importing ideas—it was about building bridges of understanding and walking together with Mexican teachers, principals, and educational leaders who welcomed us into their schools with open arms.
The focus was clear: create classrooms where every student—regardless of ability—is valued, included, and empowered to thrive. Through dynamic workshops covering inclusive literacy and math strategies, sensory supports, classroom adaptations, and positive behavioral approaches, our team engaged directly with local educators, many of whom are already doing extraordinary work with limited resources.
The exchange was powerful. Local educators shared their realities, insights and cultural context. Our visiting team offered tools and encouragement, rooted in partnership—not prescription. Together, we sparked new ideas, built new relationships, and laid the groundwork for more inclusive learning environments across Baja California.

Mark Your Calendar: Love Extended 2026
We’re thrilled to announce that our next combined Love Extended program—bringing together both our Education and Health & Therapy teams—will take place July 11-18, 2026. This unique gathering of passionate educators, therapists, and advocates from both sides of the border is an opportunity to learn, grow, and serve together.

This month, we celebrated one of our favorite traditions—promotion and graduation day at Eternal Anchor’s school! Every student was honored for their achievements, and young Ian stole our hearts as he graduated from kindergarten to primary school. A beautiful reminder: when one child grows, we all grow. ✨ New Voices, Big Wins, Bigger Hearts
June 2025
Healing Hands, Open Hearts: Two Weeks That Changed Lives
What happens when we bring together local caregivers, international students, and a whole lot of heart? We grow. We learn. We make life better for people with disabilities in our valley.
We just wrapped up two of the busiest—and most beautiful—weeks of the year. First, we celebrated the 10th year of Eternal Anchor’s Love Extended: Health & Therapy, where our team worked side-by-side with volunteers to hold therapy clinics, build equipment, and visit families in their homes. Right after that, we welcomed the University of Washington’s GROW team—11 physical therapy students along with 2 prosthetic and orthotic students who joined us for more home visits, therapy sessions, and community outreach.
We helped each other learn. We danced with elders. We fixed broken equipment. And we showed that when we work together, we can reach farther and love better.

Art, Joy, and Puppets: Culture Comes to Campus
What do you get when a puppet show and a dance troupe visit our school? Joy. Wonder. Connection.
The Instituto de Cultura de Baja California came to Eternal Anchor twice this month to share art, movement, and laughter with our students and Friendship Club Without Barriers members. Everyone watched in awe as colorful puppets told a story, and then later in the month, danced and moved together with Agustin Avila at our school.
We are grateful for partners like the Instituto de Cultura de Baja California who understand that everyone deserves moments to shine, move, and feel celebrated. We believe that art brings people together. And when we open our doors to joy, we all feel a little more connected.

Leading the Way: Local Voices Make a Big Impact
Inclusion grows stronger when we lead together. We’re proud to share that Deborah Garcia (to photo, second from left), our co-founder and Director of Justice and Equity, was sworn in to San Quintin’s very first Junta de Gobierno del Sistema Municipal para el Desarrollo Integral de las Familias de San Quintin (Municipal System for the Integral Development of Families) governing board. We now have a seat at the table—and a voice to speak up for children and families across the region.
At the same time, our amazing education team is lifting up other educators, too. Dayana Sandoval Limón and Gabriela Santa Cruz led a powerful workshop for teachers in the San Quintin Valley, sharing tools to better support students with autism and ADHD. We believe that when we teach others what we’ve learned, the whole community wins.

We Ran, Rolled, Walked, and Reached New Heights
What started just a year ago as a simple idea—to run, walk, and roll for inclusion—has grown into something much bigger. It’s now a celebration of community, effort, and hope.
June began with our second annual Eternal Anchor 6K: Ruta de la Esperanza (Route of Hope). This year was a record-breaker. More people showed up than ever before—students, teachers, families, neighbors, and friends. We saw kids in wheelchairs side-by-side with runners, walkers cheering on those crossing the finish line, and so many people moving with purpose. Every step told the world: everyone belongs.
But we didn’t do it alone. Local businesses, schools, and community leaders stood with us. They helped sponsor the event, spread the word, and joined us at the starting line. Their support means the world to us—and it shows that more and more people in the San Quintin Valley believe in what we’re doing. Together, we’re building something that lasts.
We didn’t just raise funds—we raised voices, raised spirits, and raised awareness. We clapped for every participant, posed for photos, and cheered until the last person came in. Because at Eternal Anchor, we don’t just celebrate winning—we celebrate showing up and striving forward.
And yes, we’re already thinking about next year. We hope it’s even bigger. Even bolder. Even more beautiful. Thanks to the momentum we’ve built—together—we believe it will be.
